Data protection provisions for the VERD.cash payment card
Thank you for choosing our VERD.cash prepaid card. The protection of your personal data is important to us. Our payment card is offered in Switzerland and is only aimed at customers in Switzerland. The processing of personal data is therefore exclusively subject to the provisions of Swiss data protection law. In these data protection provisions, we inform you about what data we collect when you use the prepaid card, how we use it and what rights you have as a user. By accepting these provisions online and/or using the prepaid card, you consent to the following processing of your personal data.

We process the following personal data when you use the prepaid card:
- Personal data: Name, address, date of birth, contact details (e.g. e-mail address, telephone number)
- Payment data: Bank details (deposit PrePaid / payment of remaining balance), card number, transaction data (incl. amount, date, merchant, transaction number, device number)
- Usage data: Data on the use of the prepaid card, e.g. merchant, location and time of transactions.
3. purpose of the processing of personal data
We process your data for the following purposes:
- Provision and management of your prepaid card.
- Processing of payments and top-ups.
- Compliance with legal obligations, in particular under the Money Laundering Act.
- Communication with you in connection with your prepaid card (e.g. transaction notifications).
4 Basis for data processing
The processing of your data is justified by the following reasons:
- Contract fulfillment: The processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill the contract for the use of the prepaid card.
- Legal obligations: We are required by law to process certain personal data, e.g. to comply with tax and money laundering regulations.

- Payment service providers and banks for processing payments.
